Catherine T. Nguyen is an award-winning director and producer born and raised in California. Her passion for storytelling drew her to the NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she graduated cum laude with a B.F.A. in Film and Television and a minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology from Stern. Her most notable work as a producer is CHICKEN, which world premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival. WHITE BUTTERFLY, her directorial debut, has screened at festivals around the world, including the Hawai’i International Film Festival, CAAMFest (AT&T InspirASIAN Undergraduate Winner), and Yale Student Film Festival (Best Director Winner), among others. Her latest film, COLORS OF THE SKY'S END, had its world premiere at New York Asian Film Festival and is currently touring the festival circuit.
She is currently a producer at DevRev, where she is creating an innovative marketing series that blends reality television and corporate storytelling. She is also developing her first feature film and is attached to write and direct a scripted series for a streaming platform.
